I wanted to get an ax, but did not want the weight of a super size one for my emergency bag. Picked this little axe up, and was pleasantly surprised. The only thing I've done (but not needed) to it was sharpen the blade just a little bit. Now, you are not going to chop down a full size tree with this, but certainly some smaller ones, and you certainly can split wood, but not in a single swing. What I did with this was actually hit it, got it sunk into the wood, and got another piece of wood and hit the axe behind it. Split very well. All the other tools are very nice, but I really wanted it for the axe and the hammer. I was even with a nice little sheath. Look, if you want a full size hatchet or axe, get one. if you want a small sturdy one to stick in the emergency bag, or on a hike, this is your tool.

An awesome multitool with hammer and axe.🏘 It fits on my side in a nice pouch during outdoor excursions. It also functions as pliers and has 6 tools that pop out.

I am an avid hiker, camper, and wilderness backpacker. One of the items I pack with me is a reliable multi-tool kit as part of my bug out bag. However, for casual hiking/camping, I often take less expensive tools with me. None of them have an axe or hammer, however. This tool from a no-name brand comes with both an axe and a hammer (in addition to a saw, pliers, and the usual Swiss Army Knife accessories), and I decided to give it a try. It is versatile, and it SOLVES ONE COMPLAINT I had with another brand that makes a similar product: the axe, is actually protected by the case/sheath! With the other brand (I can't mention the name here as Amazon blocks my review if I do), the axe actually STICKS OUT of its included carry case, making it potentially dangerous to carry. Tool is very versatile and useful, suitable for short-term emergency and casual use. Note the word, "short-term". Because this is from a brand I have never heard of, I am hesitant to trust it for long term (ie. months) survival. My survival trust falls with Sog or Leatherman tools.

Usually I do lot of long road trips entire year on business. So thought I should have an emergency multipurpose tool handy. This is a perfect tool to have in any car. 1. It's Strong but tiny. Doesn't occupy lot of space on the glove box. 2. It's very sturdy and handy. Fits nicely into hand. 3. Multipurpose tool. Works like a hammer, axe, plier, wire cutters bottle opener, knife and many more. 4. Sufficient weight that throws forward during usage and crates sufficient force to break a glass or cut small wood chunks. 5. Convenient grip and safe pouch for storage. 6. They even have a safety cap on the axe to prevent any accidental cuts. Thrilled to have such a tool in the glovebox. Giving me a sense of security .

I bought this Multitool for my husband, he loves gadgets that he can use every day and that would be useful in a survival kit. After using it, I now want one for myself! This would be an awesome Multitool to keep in any car. The size of the tool felt comfortable for both my husband and I, he has larger hands than I and didn't have any problem with the size. It is as described! I have smaller hands but it didn't feel cumbersome, I have had no problem using this when needed. It comes in an awesome nylon carrier with a blade cover on the axe, which makes carrying it around a breeze. It fits perfectly snug in the carrier so there is no risk of it falling out. It is extremely durable, yet lightweight in my hand. My husband absolutely loves it, he took it to work and now most of his coworkers want one. This is going to end up on my top 10 gift giving guide, it is a perfect option for anyone.
